The Sweetest Kind of Valentine

February may be known for flowers and chocolate, but this year my favorite love story involved books. Stories have a wonderful way of finding new homes and new readers, and this February I was thrilled to participate in a Stuff Your Kindle – Children’s Edition event, where over 200 children’s authors came together to offer their books to families for free. It was a joyful celebration of storytelling and community.

The event created a wonderful opportunity for families to discover new authors and stock up on amazing children’s books at no cost. Even better, a Kindle wasn’t required—each book could be read on any device using the free Kindle app, making it simple and accessible for everyone. During the two-day event, Ivy Blue’s Greatest Pumpkin Playhouse was downloaded more than 230 times!

Knowing that so many parents and grandparents chose to add Ivy Blue’s adventure to their digital bookshelves truly warmed my heart. I absolutely loved imagining families building their own little libraries this way—one download at a time. If February is the month of love, then this was the sweetest kind of Valentine.
